Description

This Core Facility is equipped with Agilent’s microfluidics-based automated electrophoresis systems for the sample quality control of biomolecules including the 2100 BioAnalyzer (DNA, RNA, proteins) and the 4150 TapeStation (DNA, RNA).

An Eppendorf epMotion 5075 robot for liquid micro-handling is available in this facility. Serial dilutions and sample preparation can be performed for the quantitative and qualitative analyses of DNA through real-time PCR. The use of fluorescent reporter molecules in samples allows the detection of amplified DNA in real-time through the use of the Bio-Rad PCR systems Opus 96, CFX 96, and CFX 384 using 96-well and 384-well plates, respectively.

If you would like to contact this core facility, please fill out the "Facility Contact Form" on the right of this page. This contact method helps ARA measure the success of the CFE in connecting potential collaborators and will flow directly to the core director’s email inbox.
