The Molecular Core at Arkana carries out clinical work as well as federal- and industry-sponsored projects. Available Molecular Core equipment includes:

  • nanoString nCounter Pro Analysis System - Numerous expression panels (mRNA miRNA, DNA, protein) are available including the Banff Human Organ Transplant (B-HOT) panel. Note, that analytical services for nanoString data output are not available.
  • PCR including clinically-validated allele genotyping for APOL1 testing
    • Qiagen QIAcuity One
    • Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 5
    • QIAquant 96 5-plex
