Division of Genetic and Molecular Toxicology

The Division of Genetic and Molecular Toxicology is internationally recognized for its expertise in developing and validating genetic-toxicity assays and in interpreting genetic toxicity findings for regulatory decision-making. Research is chemical-specific and integrates genetic risk with biomarkers of toxicity using relevant biological models. Models to conduct research on cancers and impacting toxicants as well as biomarkers is an additional focus.

All potential use of NCTR equipment must be aligned with NCTR’s mission and may require a technology transfer agreement:

NCTR conducts scientific research to generate data for FDA decision making, and develops and supports innovative tools and approaches that FDA uses to protect and promote individual and public health.
