Flow cytometry is a powerful tool in today’s life sciences research. The fluorescence-activated cell sorter/flow cytometer (BD FACSAria™) system supports cell biology studies including biomarkers detection, cell counting, cell identification, and cell sorting.

    • Physical characteristics of cells can be measured through a BD FACSAria™ flow cytometer/cell sorter.
    • The instrument enables Fluorescent-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) and detection of particles in a fluid stream through a light beam.
    • Relative cell size and cell subpopulation complexity can be analyzed by the intensity of fluorescent tags.
