ROBEN K. BROOKS

Project Coordinator

Roben began working for the Food and Drug Administration’s National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) in November 1976.  She retired from FDA/NCTR in December 2016 as the Executive Assistant to the Director and Executive Secretariat for the Global Coalition for Regulatory Science Research (GCRSR).

She joined the Arkansas Research Alliance team in January 2017 with over 40 years of government-liaison experience in administrative and project management, creative and technical writing, editing, budget formulation, and major event planning and national/international scientific conference coordination, involving world-renowned scientists and leaders in government, academia, and private industry.

Roben has lived in Arkansas all her life and currently resides in Redfield with her husband.  They have two daughters, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
